Namibia
In 2008 Mr. Beals was selected from 400 applicants to join a research expedition to the summit of Greenland's Ice Sheet where lived and worked for 6 weeks at sub-zero temperatures. Learn more HERE
Borneo
In 2010, Mr. Beals traveled to Namibia at the southern tip of Africa to explore how Cheetah and human conflicts are affecting the survival of the Cheetah. The expedition was part of his ongoing research for his Master's Degree in Zoology from Miami University - Ohio. Learn more HERE.
Science Yearbooks
Borneo is an island in Southeast Asia which has territory from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei. Mr. Beals traveled there to research how the Palm Oil Plantations are altering the ecosystem and endangering Orangutan that live on the island. Learn more HERE.
Mr. Beals Earth Science students designed and created the largest known cardboard geodesic dome in existence and turned it into a state or the art planetarium. Learn more HERE.
