Equipment Checkout: Radon CAPstone Equipment Checkout Form.
You are responsible for any/all equipment that you check out. If you are placing a Radon Detector somewhere to collect data, you must have a plan in place to ensure it does not get damaged, stolen, or unplugged.
All of the following must be in place today (or prepared for/written) before you can check out the equipment.
Where will you place it? (ex. In a locked closet? In the nurse's office? etc)
You must leave a note attached (or next to) the radon detector explaining who it belongs to, why it is here, and who to contact if there are any questions/issues, clarify that it must remain plugged in, etc.
Radon detectors must be placed about 1 foot (or more) off the ground, a foot or more away from electrical devices, and (ideally) a foot away from any walls.
Signatures: Science Component and Outreach Component by the end of the day today.

You and your lab partner will be teaming up with another group. You will work together on the Radon CAPstone. Why? Because the expectation is that your CAPstone will be amazing! Your efforts will require 4 people who are motivated, hard-working, creative, and thorough. The goal of this CAPstone is to "Change the World"!
If your team is unproductive, distracting, or has any "issues", I will dissolve your team and you will be required to finish the project on your own - you will have to work alone.
